Freedom in a
camera obscura
Lost in time.
In my bedroom I made a camera obscura by covering my windows with black plastic
and making a tiny hole in it.
The world outside was projected upside down onto my wall.
Sitting in a dark place with the world upside down,
seeing the cars drive by on the ceiling was magical and unrealistic.
Spring had started and had given the lime tree new leaves.
I could see them flourishing on my wall every day.
Time was meaningless in this place.

Freedom in a camera obscura is about finding time to enjoy the little things in life. By blinding my windows I could make a camera obscura of my bedroom. It turned the outside world upside down on my wall. When your world is upside down, take a moment to relax.
